Syrena C. Hargrove
With more than 25 years of experience working in the federal courts of Idaho, for the United States Attorney’s Office and the federal courts themselves, Syrena is an accomplished attorney. She has had the privilege of working on some of the most difficult cases in our state, representing federal agencies and the United States. She also has experience as a manager, heading the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for eight years, and leading the office’s appellate practice for fifteen years. She has taught national courses on persuasive legal writing and as coached experienced attorneys on improving their oral arguments and briefing before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
As a mediator, she harnesses her extensive experience as attorney, manager, and coach, to help parties and counsel through conflicts, facilitating the resolution of pending litigation and – when she is called in earlier – helping preclude litigation altogether. She is a highly professional and creative third party neutral.
