With more than 26 years of experience working in Idaho, for the United States Attorney’s Office, the federal courts, and the City of Boise, Syrena is an accomplished attorney.  She has had the privilege of working on some of the most difficult federal cases in our state in recent decades.  She has spent a great deal of time in federal court, both district and appellate.  She also has experience as a manager, heading the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for eight years, and acting as a coach for the office’s attorneys for fifteen years as they prepared appeals to the Ninth Circuit.  As a mediator, she harnesses her extensive experience as attorney, manager, and coach, to help parties and counsel through conflicts, facilitating the resolution of pending litigation and – when she is called in earlier – helping preclude litigation.  She is a highly professional and creative third party neutral.
